Our story

My name is Zouhour Mounajjed, and my story is woven into every piece of jewelry I create. As a Lebanese young entrepreneur, my journey began at the tender age of 15, when I discovered a passion for making handmade jewelry. It was a way for me to express my creativity, and by 16, I was sharing my creations with the world, building an audience that appreciated my art.

As I grew, I realized my heart leaned towards gold jewelry. I found myself gradually moving away from the beaded pieces I once loved, drawn instead to the elegance of gold. Yet, in my quest for beautiful adornments, I often settled for cheap options, unaware of the fleeting nature of their quality. They would rust within days, leaving me disheartened.

One fateful day at the age of 19, I borrowed a pair of earrings from my mother, thinking they were just another beautiful accessory. But from the moment I put them on, I knew I had stumbled upon something special. They felt different, and I never wanted to take them off. Curious about their origin, I approached my mom, asking where she had purchased them, hoping to find rings of the same exquisite quality.

What she revealed was nothing short of magical: those earrings were from her own jewelry shop, which she had owned two decades ago. It struck me then—a beautiful coincidence that she had once sold waterproof jewelry before circumstances forced her to close the shop. She shared that she still had contacts with the suppliers, and in that moment, a spark ignited within me.

I decided to honor my mother’s legacy. By sourcing my jewelry from the same suppliers she once relied on, I could not only create pieces that reflect my vision but also pay tribute to her hard work and dreams. Each piece I design carries a piece of her story, a blend of our past and my future.

With every necklace, bracelet, and ring, I aim to create jewelry that resonates with others, just as my mother’s earrings resonated with me.
